follow suit

解詞釋義：

follow做動(dòng)詞，有“按照(某事)去做，聽從，采用”的意思，suit是樣例的意思，所以follow suit就是“照別人的方式去做，學(xué)別人的樣”。和我們中文中說的“如法炮制”有近似之處。
