1. 解詞釋義
Throw something away有幾個意思。第一個是：discard something as useless or unwanted(因不需要而扔掉，拋棄某物)。第二個是：fail to make use of something(未能利用某事物)。第三個是：throw away the opportunity, advantage(失去機會，失去優(yōu)勢)。在該對話中是第三個意思。因此，對話中“Don’t quit school and throw it all away.”的意思是“不要放棄學(xué)業(yè)，浪費機會。”
