　　1. 解詞釋義

　　The penny drops. 是一句諺語，直接翻譯是“便士掉下來了。”引申為“原來如此，恍然大悟”的意思，用于表示某人最終確認(rèn)或明白了某事。其英文解釋為：If you say the penny drops, you mean that you havefinally understood something.

　　2. 拓展例句

　　e.g. I have to explain the problem to her several times before the penny finally drops.
