　　1. 解詞釋義

　　Gag一詞做為俚語(yǔ)，其意思為“笑話和滑稽故事”，相當(dāng)于“joke or sunny story”。例如： Jane was tellinga few rather feeble gags this afternoon. (Jane在今天下午說(shuō)了幾個(gè)沒(méi)什么生趣的笑話。)對(duì)話中“What is the gag?”是美國(guó)人常用的俚語(yǔ)，意思是詢問(wèn)對(duì)方做成功某事的奧妙或者是詭計(jì)，計(jì)謀，也可以說(shuō)為“What is the trick?”

　　A: Your are good at English. What is the gag?

　　你的英語(yǔ)真好，有什么奧妙嗎?

　　B: I do not know.

　　我不知道呀。

　　Ps 1：do a great job的意思是“做得非常出色”，表示“把某件事情做得很好”，可以說(shuō)do a great job of it。例如：

　　I trust you to do a great job for Stan's sake.

　　我拜托你看在斯坦的份上干得非常出色。

　　If we don't do a great job now, all the work we've done will be wasted.

　　倘若我們弄得不好，就會(huì)全功盡棄。

　　We don't doubt that he can do a good job of it.

　　我們并不懷疑他能把這事做得很好。

　　Ps 2：win one’s trust的意思是“贏得某人的信任，取得某人的信任”。
