“Left. No right. No Left. Right”.
“Let's face it, Karla. We're lost.” Melanie pointed the flashlight in her friend's face. “Let's call someone for help.”
“No way,” said Karla. “Let's keep playing. This is fun.”
In hopes of attracting more tourists, the city of Manning built the world's biggest mysteriousmaze. Today was the grand opening and Karla and Melanie were lost. They had been walking for hours. With each turn they found themselves back where they started.
“Think of it as an adventure. Pretend you are Indiana Jones.” Not only was the maze dark, it was also scary. Karla wondered if rats lived down here. She jumped at the sight of her ownshadow. “What tourist would want to come here,” she thought to herself.
“Look,” said Melanie. “Here's a secret passage. Let's crawl through and see where it goes.” The two girls climbed in the narrow tunnel and crawled on their hands and knees. “Look, there's a light.” The girls climbed towards the light and soon they were outside. They had solved themystery of the maze.
