Bidding

Arthur： We're willing to participate in the bid which you advertised in China Daily. Would you please tell me the detail of the tender conditions?

Mr. Hunter： You will receive the detailed information about volume of the project and the cost.

Arthur： OK! Our company is eligible bidders, and I'm sure that we'll do our best to win the bidding. Should we pay earnest money?

Mr. Hunter： Yes, you are supposed to pay it on time. If you don't furnish a tender bond on time, your submission will not be considered. Besides, you also should provide detailed engineering document of the goods.

Arthur： Where do we submit the tender?

Mr. Hunter： To our office which is on the third floor.

Arthur： Oh, I see. By the way, is tender-opening done publicly?

Mr. Hunter： Yes. All the bidders will be invited to join us to supervise the tender-opening. So far as we know, in the field, your company has lots of experience, and we hope you'll consider the tender seriously.

Arthur： OK! We will. Bye!

Mr. Hunter： Bye!

投標(biāo)

亞瑟： 我們想?yún)⒓幽銈兊窃谥袊請?bào)上的招標(biāo)。您能否和我說一說你們招標(biāo)條件的細(xì)節(jié)？

亨特先生： 您將會(huì)收到招標(biāo)通知信息，包括工程量、項(xiàng)目費(fèi)用等。

亞瑟： 好的，我們公司是合格的投標(biāo)者。我肯定我們會(huì)盡全力來贏得這次競標(biāo)。我們要交擔(dān)保金嗎？

亨特先生： 是的，你們應(yīng)該按時(shí)交。如果你們沒有按時(shí)交納，那么你們的投標(biāo)將不被考慮在內(nèi)。除此之外，你們也應(yīng)該提供貨物的詳細(xì)設(shè)計(jì)。

亞瑟： 我們在哪兒交投標(biāo)書？

亨特先生： 在三層的辦事處。

亞瑟： 我知道了，順便問一下，這次是公開開標(biāo)么？

亨特先生： 是的，所有的投標(biāo)人都參加監(jiān)督。據(jù)我們所知，貴公司在這方面很有經(jīng)驗(yàn)。我們希望你們能認(rèn)真考慮這次投標(biāo)。
