Lantern Festival's temple fair

Hunk： Wow，there are so many lanterns to appreciate．Now，I can see why it's called the Lantern Festival．It deserves its name.

Shirley： Yeah．People always enjoy the lighted lanterns and eat the rice glue ball .

Hunk： What are they doing over there? People keep on gathering there.

Shirley： Did you notice the characters on the lanterns?

Hunk： Sure．But you know that I can't read any Chinese characters．What do they say?

Shirley： They are riddles ．It's a tradition to guess lantern riddles during the Lantern Festival.

Hunk： Very interesting．But I'm afraid we'd better do something else．Hey，look！There is a huge lantern there．Let's get close to it.

Shirley： It's really eye-catching．It's the biggest dragon lantern I've ever seen in all my life.

Hunk： Really? Then I'm really lucky．Oh，it's spewing fireworks from its huge mouth.

Shirley： Very impressive．It's made of glass which makes it even brighter.

Hunk： There are many Chinese characters on its body，too．What are they about? Puzzles?

Shirley： Let me have a look．Oh，no．They are blessing poems．Hey，let's go buy some small lanterns as souvenirs for my parents.

Hunk： Oh，good idea．They'll love it.

元宵廟會(huì)

漢克： 哇，這里有好多燈籠可以觀賞啊?，F(xiàn)在，我知道它為什么被稱為“燈籠節(jié)”了。真是名副其實(shí)啊。

雪莉： 是啊。人們都很喜歡這些點(diǎn)亮的燈籠和吃元宵。

漢克： 那里在做什么啊？聚集了好多人啊。

雪莉： 你注意到燈籠上的字了嗎？

漢克： 當(dāng)然了。但是你知道我不認(rèn)識(shí)的。寫的是什么？

雪莉： 它們是字謎。元宵節(jié)猜燈謎是一個(gè)傳統(tǒng)。

雪莉： 真是引人注目啊。這是我這輩子見過最大的龍燈。

漢克： 真的？那我可真是幸運(yùn)。它的大嘴還在噴火呢。

雪莉： 真是激動(dòng)人心。它用玻璃做的，看起來更亮了。

漢克： 它的身上也寫了很多漢字。關(guān)于什么的？字謎嗎？

雪莉： 讓我看看。哦，不是，是一些祝福性的詩歌。嗨，我們?nèi)ベI點(diǎn)小燈籠給父母當(dāng)作紀(jì)念品吧。

漢克： 哦，好主意。他們一定會(huì)喜歡的。
