Look! You're breaking out in a cold sweat!

你瞧，你都嚇得直冒冷汗了!

break out in a cold sweat直譯過(guò)來(lái)就是“在冷汗中爆發(fā)了”，這個(gè)短語(yǔ)的真正意思是：“(因?yàn)榻辜?、生病、害怕?冒冷汗”。因此當(dāng)美國(guó)人說(shuō)"Look! You're breaking out ina cold sweat!"時(shí)，他要表達(dá)的意思就是: "You areshaking in your shoes!"、"You are so scared!"、"Youare so nervous!"。
