眼鏡的“度數(shù)“、酒精的“度數(shù)”用英語(yǔ)怎么表達(dá)？
有的小伙伴可能首先想到的是degree這個(gè)詞。但是，眼鏡的“度數(shù)”、酒精的“度數(shù)”跟我們熟悉的degree其實(shí)根本不是一碼事。到底應(yīng)該怎么表達(dá)呢？一起看一看吧～
 
眼鏡度數(shù)
在英文中，眼鏡度數(shù)的單位是diopter /da???pt?(r)/（屈光度）。
釋義：
a unit for measuring the power of a lens to refract light (= make it change direction)
屈光度
大家在視力檢驗(yàn)報(bào)告上就能看到屈光度，如果是-3.5D，這里的D就是diopter的縮寫(xiě)。而-3.5D代表的也就是近視350度。
 
A “plus” (+) sign in front of the number means you are farsighted, and a “minus” (-) sign means you are nearsighted. These numbers represent diopters, the unit used to measure the correction, or focusing power, of the lens your eye requires. Diopter is often abbreviated "D".

酒精度在英語(yǔ)中可以表達(dá)為alcohol by volume。
