But I want to ask you a real question

Do you know how powerful you are?
你們知道自己有多強(qiáng)大嗎
Today is not my day
今天不是我的日子
Today is not belong to anyone on this stage
今天不屬于臺(tái)上的任何人
Today is your day. Today is about the power of you
今天屬于你們 今天是關(guān)于你們的強(qiáng)大
Do you know how powerful you are?
你們知道自己有多強(qiáng)大嗎
Our stories may be different
我們的故事可能會(huì)有不同
but I bet some of you grew up with single mothers or fathers
但很多人肯定也成長于單親家庭
Maybe you came here from Africa or Caribbean
也許你來自非洲或加勒比地區(qū)
Maybe you are the first in your family to go to college like I was
也許你也是家里第一個(gè)考上大學(xué)的 就像我一樣
Maybe there were times that you
也許有一段時(shí)間
didn't have a place to live or no food to eat
你也沒有地方住 沒有東西吃
You see, the odds were against you
各種條件都對(duì)你非常不利
the odds were against you making it here today
各種條件都想阻礙你達(dá)到今天的成就
But guess what? You did it
但是 你們做到了
You put this day on your calendar
你們成功走到了今天
You overcame the odds
你們克服可重重阻礙
You made a decision and you saw that decision due
你們做了決定 而且實(shí)現(xiàn)了自己的目標(biāo)
So I ask you one more time
我再問你們一次
