該句是個(gè)省略句，它原來是這樣的:
a.本句使用了“I would rather+that從句”的虛擬語氣句型。
1)與現(xiàn)在事實(shí)相反時(shí):
I would rather+過去時(shí)that從句
=I wish+過去時(shí)that從句
例:I wish she were here.
=I'd rather she were here.
It is a pity that she is not here.

2)與過去事實(shí)相反時(shí):
