A:Did you see the football game last night?

你看昨晚上的足球賽了嗎?

B:No, I missed it unfortunately,but I heard it was an amazing game.

沒有，非常不幸的是我錯(cuò)過了，但是我聽說這是一場很棒的比賽。

A:Was it ever!

史無前例。

The Seahawks were down by four touchdowns in the last quarter,but came back to win it in overtime.

在最后一場，海鷹隊(duì)丟了四個(gè)觸地分，但是在加時(shí)賽時(shí)，又贏回來了。

B:Sounds like a thriller! I bet the fans were going crazy.

聽起來太刺激了。我敢說，粉絲們肯定都瘋了。

A:The players said that they couldn't even hear themselves think on the field.

運(yùn)動(dòng)員說在球場上他們聽不能理清自己的思緒了。

B:So what happened exactly?

到底發(fā)生了什么?

A:Well, as I said, they were down by 28 points in the last quarter,but they just got on a roll and tied the game on the final play.

就像我剛才所有的，在四分之一比賽時(shí)，他們落下28分，但是他們超常發(fā)揮，在最后時(shí)打成了平手。

B:Then it went into overtime?

然后比賽進(jìn)入了加時(shí)賽嗎?

A:Yeah, and they got a field goal to win it in the first few minutes.

是的，在加時(shí)賽的剛開始，他們就進(jìn)球了。

B:Man, I'm sorry I missed it.

天啊!我錯(cuò)過了這場比賽，太可惜了。

A：That'll teach you to work late on a Monday night!

可是，這場比賽也會(huì)讓你周一加班到很晚。

B:I'll say!
