On Thursday Dexter found a box of cigars on the sidewalk.

星期四德克斯特在人行道上撿到一盒雪茄。

"I smoke cigars all the time," said Fox.

“我一直抽雪茄，” 小狐說(shuō)。

"You do?" said his friends.

“你抽雪茄?” 朋友們驚呼。

"Mom doesn't care," said Fox.

“我媽媽不介意，” 小狐說(shuō)。

"She doesn't?" said his friends.

“她不介意?” 朋友們不敢相信。

"Let's smoke now," said Fox.

“我們現(xiàn)在就抽吧，” 小狐說(shuō)。

"Why not?" said his friends.

“為什么不呢?” 朋友們說(shuō)。

And they went someplace quiet.

于是他們來(lái)到一個(gè)安靜的地方。

Soon they were as sick as dogs.

不一會(huì)他們就被煙熏得很難受。

"I didn't know it would be like this!" said Fox.

“我真沒想到會(huì)這樣!” 小狐說(shuō)。

"What!" cried Carmen. "You said you smoke all the time!"

“什么!” 卡門大叫道，“你不是說(shuō)你一直都抽的嗎。”
