Buddhists say that there is only one certain way tobreak free from Samsara--to eliminate the desires,and the passions, and the distractions of everydaylife.

Now, of course, that is very easy to say and it's veryhard to do.

當(dāng)然，這說(shuō)起來(lái)容易，做起來(lái)難。

So over the centuries Buddhists have employed specific rigorous methods to break free fromall of this,

所以數(shù)世紀(jì)來(lái)，佛教徒們采用非常嚴(yán)格的方法，

from the troubles and the temptations of the real world, and to set themselves on the path toenlightenment, to Nirvana.

從這所有一切、從現(xiàn)實(shí)世界的煩惱和誘惑中解脫出來(lái)，讓自己走上涅槃的正途。

And that is the truly radical thing about the Buddha's example,

而這正是佛陀示范的真正的、根本的事情：

his belief that each and every one of us has the capacity to achieve liberation, to achieve ourown enlightenment.

他相信，我們每一個(gè)人都有能力獲得自由，得到我們個(gè)人的開(kāi)悟。

It took the Buddha years to arrive at this radical belief.

佛陀用了數(shù)年時(shí)間才悟道這個(gè)根本理念。

Ideas he developed through his own personal experience - in particular, an intense form ofmeditation.

這些思想形成都來(lái)源于他自身的體驗(yàn)。具體來(lái)說(shuō)，是緣于一種深度入定冥想方式。

And it is Buddhist meditation that I'm now going to experience in our next wonder of theBuddhist world.
