守時(shí)

To the punctual means to do what you should do ontime.

守時(shí)的意思是準(zhǔn)時(shí)去做你該做的事。

A punctual person is never late for his appointments,

一個(gè)守時(shí)的人有按時(shí)做事的習(xí)慣，約會(huì)從來(lái)不會(huì)遲到。

which is especially important in the current fast-developing society.

這一點(diǎn)在目前這個(gè)高速發(fā)展的社會(huì)中尤其重要。

To workers,time is money.To students, time is knowledge.

對(duì)工人來(lái)說(shuō)，時(shí)間就是產(chǎn)品;對(duì)學(xué)生來(lái)說(shuō)，時(shí)間就是知識(shí)。

Therefore punctua- lity is of great importance for every one of us.

所以，守時(shí)對(duì)我們每個(gè)人都很重要。

A punctual person always cherishes his own time and seldom complains.

一個(gè)守時(shí)的人通常很珍惜自己的時(shí)間，很少抱怨。

However, an unpunctual man is always wasting his time

然而，一個(gè)不守時(shí)的人通常浪費(fèi)自己的時(shí)間，

and complaining that he finds no time to answer letters,

還常抱怨沒(méi)有時(shí)間復(fù)信

return calls or keep appointments on time

沒(méi)有時(shí)間回電話或準(zhǔn)時(shí)赴約。

He never does what he had to do at the proper time.

他從來(lái)都不在適當(dāng)?shù)臅r(shí)間做應(yīng)該做的事。

Surely everyone wants to be a punctual person

當(dāng)然每個(gè)人都想成為守時(shí)的人，

but it is actually not easy.

但實(shí)際上做起來(lái)并不容易。

To do this one should learn to keep every appointment promptly

為了做到這一點(diǎn)我們應(yīng)該學(xué)會(huì)準(zhǔn)時(shí)赴約，

and deal with every piece of work as quickly as one can.

盡快地處理每一項(xiàng)工作

Let's try to be punctual and keep this in mind:

讓我們努力做到守時(shí)，把這記在心里：

a man who is known to be habitually unpunctual

一個(gè)時(shí)常不守時(shí)的人

is never trusted by his friends or colleagues.

不會(huì)得到朋友和同事的信任。
