Three policemen have been shot dead in Bartonruge in the American state of Louisiana, officers say they don't yet know the motives of the shootings nor whether they are any connection with the killing by police of a black man earlier this month. Officers were shot out while investigating of reports of an armed man, the gun man was shot dead by police. Here is Jean O’bren.

The shooter has been identified as Gavin Long age 29 from Missouri, armed police has converged on a house in Kansas city where is believed he live and warned people to stay away from the scene.
