Have you ever found yourself in the place to console anyone?

你有沒(méi)有遇到過(guò)需要安慰別人的時(shí)候?

Every now and then we see people get emotional around us.

時(shí)不時(shí)地，我們身邊總會(huì)有人出現(xiàn)些情緒上的問(wèn)題。

Sometimes they experience tragedy.

有時(shí)候是因?yàn)樗麄兘?jīng)歷了慘劇。

Sometimes they just find out that life doesn't go as they planned.

有時(shí)候，只是因?yàn)樗麄儼l(fā)現(xiàn)生活并沒(méi)有像他們計(jì)劃的那樣發(fā)展。

Either case, they feel sad and it seems natural for you to console them.

不過(guò)不管是哪種，他們心里都不好受，而你去安慰他們也顯得很自然。

But what would you say?

不過(guò)，你會(huì)說(shuō)些什么呢?

Would you say "I understand you."?

會(huì)說(shuō)：“我理解你。”?

In my experience most people would.

據(jù)我的觀察，大部分人都會(huì)這么說(shuō)。

But don't. Someone with high EQ would never say that.

但是別。一個(gè)情商高的人是不會(huì)這么說(shuō)的。

Because it doesn't console anyone. It only hurts and makes people angry.

因?yàn)檫@并不能安慰誰(shuí)。這只會(huì)讓人更受傷，而且會(huì)激怒別人。

Everyone's life is unique. Everyone's experience is unique. Everyone's feeling is unique.

每個(gè)人的生活都是獨(dú)特的。每個(gè)人的體驗(yàn)都是獨(dú)特的。每個(gè)人的感受都是獨(dú)特的。

Don't assume that you know anyting about anyone.

別以為你能理解別人的事情。

'Cause you don't.

Just like nobody really understands you. And you don't want people to tell you that they do.

就像你也知道沒(méi)有人真的理解你。而你也不希望有人告訴你他們理解你。
