How was your blind date last night?
你昨晚的相親怎么樣?
I met my husband on a blind date.
我是相親認(rèn)識(shí)我丈夫的。
A: Mike, are you interested in helping me out and going on blind dates with a friend of mine?
邁克,你想不想幫我個(gè)忙,跟我出趟門去和我的一個(gè)朋友相親?
B: That depends. What does she look like?
這得看情況,那女孩長(zhǎng)得怎么樣?
A: Well, she's got a beautiful face and long curly red hair.
她長(zhǎng)得很漂亮,還有一頭紅色的長(zhǎng)卷發(fā)。
B: How tall is she?
她多高?
A: She's fairly tall. Maybe two inches taller than me.
挺高的,大約比我高兩英寸。
B: Is she chubby?
胖嗎?
A: Not at all. She's actually very athletic.
一點(diǎn)都不胖,完全是運(yùn)動(dòng)型的。
B: It sounds like she's pretty good-looking. Does she wear glasses?
這樣聽起來(lái)她很漂亮,帶眼鏡嗎?
A: No. But she does wear contact lenses.
不戴,但是戴隱形眼鏡。
B: How's her skin?
皮膚怎么樣?
A: She's got a generous complexion with a few freckles on her nose.
皮膚好極了,只是鼻子上有一點(diǎn)點(diǎn)雀斑
B: Does she have any piercings or tattoos?
她身上有紋身或者打過(guò)洞嗎?
A: I think she has her ears pierced and she definitely has a few tattoos. One on her lower back, one on her neck and one on her left foot.
我記得她有耳洞,而且有一些紋身。腰上有一個(gè),脖子上有一個(gè),左腳上還有一個(gè)。
B: What's the tattoo on her foot like?
腳上那個(gè)是什么圖案?
A: It's a butterfly. Everyone in her family has one.
是一只蝴蝶,她家里每個(gè)人都紋著一個(gè)。
B: Even her mom?
連她媽媽都紋了?
A: Yes. Even her mom.
沒(méi)錯(cuò),她媽媽都有。
B: What's her personality like?
她性格怎么樣?
A: She's a lot like me.
很多地方跟我很像。
B: So there is something wrong with her. It was beginning to sound like she was too good to be true.
那她一定有什么問(wèn)題,剛開始聽起來(lái)處處都好,簡(jiǎn)直不像是真人。
