臉書(shū)推出短視頻app,對(duì)抗國(guó)際版抖音

Facebook has quietly released an app called Lasso that lets users create fun, short videos designed to compete with TikTok, the viral 15-second video app, which is known as Douyin in China.

臉書(shū)公司悄悄發(fā)布了一個(gè)名為L(zhǎng)asso的應(yīng)用軟件，用戶可以用它來(lái)制作有趣的短視頻。臉書(shū)推出該應(yīng)用軟件的目的是為了與TikTok(抖音國(guó)際版)競(jìng)爭(zhēng)，TikTok是一款很火的15秒短視頻應(yīng)用軟件，在中國(guó)它被稱為抖音。

Lasso is Facebook's latest bid to win over teens, which the large social media platform has lost itshold over. In 2018, only half of teens say they still use Facebook, compared to in 2014, when 71 percent of them said they did.

Lasso是臉書(shū)公司為了吸引青少年用戶而提出的最新戰(zhàn)略，如今這家大型社交媒體平臺(tái)已流失大量青少年用戶。2018年，只有一半的青少年表示自己還在使用臉書(shū)，而2014年有71%的青少年表示自己使用臉書(shū)。

It is said that, on Lasso, users can record themselves dancing and lip-syncing to music, similar to what they can already do on TikTok. The app also lets users record short clips. It's available on iOS and Android.

據(jù)說(shuō)，用戶可以用Lasso記錄自己伴著音樂(lè)對(duì)口型、跳舞的視頻，這與TikTok的功能相似。該應(yīng)用軟件還能讓用戶錄制短視頻。而且該應(yīng)用軟件支持iOs系統(tǒng)和安卓系統(tǒng)。

Facebook said: “Lasso is a new standalone app for short-form, entertaining videos — from comedy to beauty to fitness and more. We're excited about the potential here, and we’ll be gathering feedback from people and creators.”

You can sign in to Lasso through Instagram or create an account using Facebook. However, you'll have to authorize the app to allow access to your profile page, photos, and videos. After that's set up, you’re free to scroll through tons of short videos that auto play as you pass by them. But you're also unable to make your profile private.

你可以通過(guò)Ins來(lái)登錄Lasso，也可以用臉書(shū)創(chuàng)建一個(gè)賬戶。不過(guò)，你得授權(quán)該應(yīng)用軟件可以訪問(wèn)你的主頁(yè)、照片和視頻。建好賬戶之后，你就可以從海量的短視頻中翻閱你瀏覽到的那些自動(dòng)播放的短視頻了。但是你也無(wú)法隱藏你的個(gè)人簡(jiǎn)介。

Still, like Facebook Watch, Lasso might be a couple of years late. Bytedance's TikTok has been around since 2016.

不過(guò)，就像臉書(shū)視頻服務(wù)Watch一樣，Lasso可能在幾年之后才會(huì)上線。而從2016年起，字節(jié)跳動(dòng)公司的TikTok就已經(jīng)上線了。

Facebook has been oddly quiet about Lasso’s launch, with no official statement on its website.

奇怪的是，臉書(shū)公司對(duì)Lasso的推出保持沉默，而且并未在網(wǎng)站上發(fā)表官方聲明。
