蘋(píng)果公司(Apple Inc. )是美國(guó)的一家高科技公司。由史蒂夫·喬布斯、斯蒂夫·沃茲尼亞克和羅·韋恩(Ron Wayne)等三人于1976年4月1日創(chuàng)立，并命名為美國(guó)蘋(píng)果電腦公司(Apple Computer Inc. )， 2007年1月9日更名為蘋(píng)果公司，總部位于加利福尼亞州的庫(kù)比蒂諾。

蘋(píng)果公司1980年12月12日公開(kāi)招股上市，2012年創(chuàng)下6235億美元的市值記錄，截至2014年6月，蘋(píng)果公司已經(jīng)連續(xù)三年成為全球市值最大公司。蘋(píng)果公司在2016年世界500強(qiáng)排行榜中排名第9名。 2013年9月30日，在宏盟集團(tuán)的“全球最佳品牌”報(bào)告中，蘋(píng)果公司超過(guò)可口可樂(lè)成為世界最有價(jià)值品牌。2014年，蘋(píng)果品牌超越谷歌(Google)，成為世界最具價(jià)值品牌。

2016年4月22日，蘋(píng)果公司證實(shí)蘋(píng)果兩大互聯(lián)網(wǎng)服務(wù)——iTunes Movies和iBooks Store在中國(guó)區(qū)關(guān)閉。

2016年7月20日，《財(cái)富》發(fā)布了最新的世界500強(qiáng)排行榜，蘋(píng)果公司名列第九名。
