Passengers on a China United Airlines flight from Chengdu to Beijing on Sunday lodged a protest, after discovering other passengers smoking on the plane.

Crew members on the plane were criticized for turning a blind eye to passengers smoking in the lavatory and outside the cabin door.

China United Airlines has agreed to apologize and compensate.

Topic 3: Unqualified foreign teachers in China On Aug 29, the head of two foreign language training agencies in the city of Harbin were been questioned by police for allegedly allowing foreign teachers without proper qualification on their payroll. This revealed a current situation that some foreign teachers in China have no qualification to teach in school.

Is there a problem with foreign teachers not having proper qualification/documentation?

China has relaxed its limits on foreign investment in hospitals on the mainland allowing hospitals in 7 cities and provinces to be wholly foreign owned.
