France aims to reinvigorate international efforts to tackle global warming with today's summit at the French capital, two years since the Paris accord was signed. President Emmanuel Macron says he believes the United States will change its mind about the agreement, despite Donald Trump's announcement for America to withdraw. Mr.Macron called Mr.Trump's move aggressive and reiterated that he will not renegotiate the deal.

Finance ministers in 5 European countries have written to their U.S counterpart to warn that plan to change U.S tax law could violate international rules and damage world trade. They highlighted a plan to 20% tax on purchase made by American companies from foreign subsidiaries.

Mr.Moore questioned why his accusers have stated silent for so long. His democratic rivals Doug Jones is a former lawyer known for prosecuting white supremacy.
