① borrow sth. from表示“從……借來某物”，指的是主語把某物從某人或某地借來。

He borrowed some money from Jim yesterday. 他昨天向吉姆借了一些錢。

We can borrow books from the library. 我們可以從圖書館借書。

② lend sth. to表示“把某物借給……”，指的是主語把某物借出去，借給別人。

I have lent the book to Tom. 我已經(jīng)把那本書借給湯姆了。

③ keep意為“保持，保留”，為延續(xù)性動詞。表示把某物“借”或“保留”多久時，要用keep，而不可用borrow或lend，因為這兩個詞都是非延續(xù)性動詞。
