747　不能用于被動語態(tài)的及物動詞

◎ 及物動詞一般都可以用于被動語態(tài)，但有些表示狀態(tài)等的及物動詞卻不可用于被動語態(tài)，如：hold（容納），become（成為），last（維持），know（認識），get（明白），belong to（屬于）等。meet作“遇見”解時，也不可用于被動語態(tài)。

This hall can hold one hundred people.

這個大廳能容納下100人。

One hundred people can be held in this hall.

The new coat becomes him well.

這件新大衣他穿很合適。

He is well become by the new coat.

The food lasted them two months.

他們的食物維持了兩個月。

They were lasted two months by the food.

I met her in the street today.

我今天在街上遇見了她。

She was met in the street by me today.

當get作“得到”，hold作“舉行”，meet作“迎接”解時，又可用于被動語態(tài)。

This kind of radio can be got at any store. 這種收音機在任何一家商店都能買到。

The meeting will be held next Friday. 會議將在下周五舉行。

She was met at the airport by her father. 她父親在機場迎接她。
