The garage, "garage," is the place where you keep your car. 車庫(garage)，是放車的地方。

"I'm usually running late and today is no exception!" “我通常上班會(huì)遲到，今天也是如此!”

When you are running late, you are behind your schedule; you're behind time that you want to be somewhere. 當(dāng)你遲到了，你晚點(diǎn)了;就是你沒在你預(yù)定的時(shí)間到達(dá)目的地。

To run late means the same as to be late or to be tardy, "tardy." “To run late”和“to be late”或“to be tardy”的意思一樣。

Usually that word, tardy, is only used in school. “Tardy”這個(gè)詞一般只用在學(xué)校里。

We say a student is tardy, we mean that they are late for school or late for class. 我們會(huì)說某些學(xué)生很拖拉，就是說他們上學(xué)或上課遲到。

To be running late means that you are not on the schedule that you want to be on—that you did not leave at the time you wanted to leave. “To be running late”的意思是你沒有按照你的時(shí)間安排進(jìn)行——你沒有在要離開的時(shí)候離開。

I say I'm "running late and today is no exception!" 我說我“遲到了，今天也是如此!”

That expression, is no exception, "exception," means that today is the same as every other day—it is not different. 短語“no exception”(exception)，的意思是今日和往日一樣——沒有差別。

An exception is when something is different. 某事物不同的時(shí)候就是例外，

Well, today is no different, that means today is no exception—it is not different. 嗯，今天也沒有不同，意思是今天也沒有例外——沒有什么不同。
