My little boy brings me a world of sunshine

我的小家伙兒哦！他是一縷陽光

He turns gray clouds into a sky of blue

能驅(qū)散我心頭上的的陰霾

He goes around singing nursery rhymes

他太活潑了，到處哼著童謠

And I am compelled to join the singing too

我也不由自主的和了起來

He is not yet old enough to attend school

小家伙兒還未到學(xué)齡

But he leaves pencil marks on everything I see

卻已能用筆四處留下印跡

He is always making things with the tools

能借助工具做些小玩意兒

He keeps in his little world of make-believe

沉迷于自己創(chuàng)造的小小世界

He helps me when I clean and cook

當(dāng)我打掃衛(wèi)生或做飯時

He tries hard to do his part

他在我身邊，幫了不少忙呢

He uses my recipes for a coloring book

小家伙兒把我的菜譜當(dāng)作圖畫本

And brings a piece of heaven to my heart

他的“繪畫作品”讓我賞心悅目

The time will come when he is grown

小家伙兒總有一天會長大的

But these fond memories will not fade

但是美好的記憶不會消逝

When he is out and on his own

當(dāng)他離家遠走展翅高飛時

I will recall the many times we played

我會一遍遍重溫這些日子
