329　top的用法

　top 是名詞，通常用單數(shù)形式，意為“頂部”。

1　be top of+名詞 表示“是……最好的，為……尖子”。

Tom is top of the class. 湯姆是這個(gè)班上的尖子學(xué)生。

He is top of the team. 他是這個(gè)隊(duì)上最好的隊(duì)員。

2　the top 表示“最好的，頂尖的”，相當(dāng)于the best。

Jack is the top student in the school. 杰克是這所學(xué)校中拔尖的學(xué)生。

She was the top in the high-jump. 她是跳高冠軍。

3　on the top of 表示“在……的頂端”。

There is a house on the top of the hill. 山頂上有一所房子。
