Love, the world
愛(ài)，這世界

Suddenly turns, turns color. The streetlight
突然改變，改變顏色。街燈

Splits through the rat’s tail
穿透老鼠的尾巴而分裂

Pods of the laburnum at nine in the morning.
早晨九時(shí)金蓮花之豆莢。

It is the Arctic,
這是北極，

This little black
這個(gè)黑色

Circle, with its tawn silk grasses—babies’ hair.
小圈，黃褐色的絲草——嬰兒的頭發(fā)。

There is a green in the air,
空氣中有一種綠，

Soft, delectable.
柔軟，愉快。

It cushions me lovingly.

I am flushed and warm.
我臉紅，感覺(jué)溫暖。

I think I may be enormous,
我想我也許有影響力，

I am so stupidly happy,
我如此高興，傻乎乎，

My wellingtons
我的長(zhǎng)筒雨靴

Squelching and squelching through the beautiful red.

I pace it, sniffing

Walks the waist high wet.

Golds bleed and deepen, the mouths of Thermopylae.
