[雙語新聞] 世界上最矮的人 身高只有22英寸

 

He might only be slightly taller than a glass bottle, but Junrey Balawing is set to break big world records. The tiny teenager will soon be crowned the world's smallest man, standing at a mere 22 inches.

Junrey Balawing可能只比一個(gè)玻璃瓶高一點(diǎn)點(diǎn)，但這位身高僅22英寸的人即將打破世界紀(jì)錄，成為“世界最矮人”。

The minuscule man from Zamboanga del Norte, in the Philippines, is already 17 years old but is just the same size as a one-year-old.
 這個(gè)“小矮人”來自菲律賓北三寶顏，雖已17歲，看起來卻像個(gè)1歲的孩子。

He struggles to walk and can't stand for long, but he looks forward to wearing the crown with pride. "If I were the smallest man in the world, it would be very cool,"he said.

Junrey能蹣跚走路，但是不能久站。他很期望能獲得“世界最矮人”的榮譽(yù)稱號(hào)。他說：“我要成了'世界最矮人'，就太酷了。”

His mother, Concepcion, 35, says she noticed something was wrong as Junrey approached the age of two but no doctor was able to help.
