三星繼承人李在镕開(kāi)始上訴

Lee Jae-yong, the de facto head of Samsung, on Thursday returned to court as his defence team began arguments in an appeal against his five-year sentence for corruption.

三星(Samsung)事實(shí)上的掌門(mén)人李在镕(Lee Jae-yong)周四再度出庭，其律師團(tuán)隊(duì)開(kāi)始就其因行賄罪被判刑5年提出上訴并進(jìn)行陳述。

Arguably the nation’s most powerful individual, Mr Lee was in August convicted on a string of charges including bribing former president Park Geun-hye to win her support for a controversial Samsung merger.

李在镕可以說(shuō)是韓國(guó)最有權(quán)勢(shì)的人，今年8月，他的一系列罪名成立，包括賄賂前韓國(guó)總統(tǒng)樸槿惠(Park Geun-hye)以贏得她對(duì)一樁有爭(zhēng)議的三星并購(gòu)案的支持。

The court is likely to rule on the appeal by February and many expect his sentence to be reduced to three years or for him to be given probation.

法庭可能將在明年2月對(duì)這一上訴作出判決，很多人預(yù)計(jì)李在镕的刑期將會(huì)減為3年，或者將被判處緩刑。

The hearing marked the first appearance of Mr Lee – officially a vice president of Samsung Electronics – in public since his conviction.

這次聽(tīng)證會(huì)是李在镕在被定罪后首次公開(kāi)露面，其公開(kāi)職務(wù)是三星電子(Samsung Electronics)副總裁。
