日本2021年度漢字為"金"

The kanji for "金" (kin) was named the single most representative kanji character corresponding to the social mood in Japan this year, by the Japan Kanji Aptitude Testing Foundation on Monday.

The Kyoto-based organization said that "kin" was a fitting choice for 2021 because of the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics, where Japanese Olympic team saw their best results ever.
