Tesla CEO Elon Musk decided on Friday to terminate his $44 billion deal to buy Twitter, blaming the company for withholding information on its number of spam and fake accounts.

特斯拉公司首席執(zhí)行官埃隆•馬斯克當?shù)貢r間8日表示，將終止對推特的440億美元收購計劃，理由是推特無法準確提供垃圾郵件及虛假賬戶數(shù)據(jù)信息。

Musk's lawyer claimed Twitter failed to comply with its obligations in the merger agreement and was "in material breach of multiple provisions" of the agreement signed in April.
馬斯克的律師表示，推特公司沒有“遵守其合同義務”并嚴重違反了4月簽署的協(xié)議中的多項條款。

Twitter's Board Chair Bret Taylor said the company is committed to closing the deal on the price and terms agreed upon with Musk, and plans to pursue legal action to enforce the agreement.
