公元726年，4年期滿后，王維結(jié)束了濟(jì)州司倉參軍的任職，啟程歸京，準(zhǔn)備接受新的任命。 詩人走水路，船至廣武城時，寫下這首詩。

廣武城邊逢暮春，
汶陽歸客淚沾巾。
落花寂寂啼山鳥，
楊柳青青渡水人。

Late Spring on the Si River

When spring begins to pass near Guangwu town,
It makes the wanderer's tears come soaking down—
O the silent flower-fall, the noisy mountain birds,
The crowded ferry, the willow's verdant crown!
