A:  how do you usually get to school?

你一般怎么去學(xué)校?

B: I usually ride my bike. Which form of transport do you prefer to use?

我一般都騎自行車(chē)去.你喜歡哪種交通工具?

A:  I feel that I can see more when I pedal a bicycle, but when I feel lazy, I drive my car.

我覺(jué)得蹬自行車(chē)的時(shí)候可以看更多的風(fēng)景,但是犯懶的時(shí)候我就開(kāi)車(chē).

B:  I think we should discourage people from using their private cars. They produce too much pollution!

我覺(jué)得我們應(yīng)該勸人們盡量少開(kāi)私家車(chē).汽車(chē)制造的污染太嚴(yán)重了!

A:  I agree, but I would find it difficult to stop using my car. It's just so convenient.

我同意,不過(guò)我覺(jué)得不開(kāi)車(chē)很難做到.開(kāi)車(chē)實(shí)在是太方便了.

B:  cars might be convenient, but they're so bad for the environment.

開(kāi)車(chē)可能是很方便,但是對(duì)環(huán)境的影響太惡劣了.

A:  do you have a car?

你有車(chē)嗎?

B:  no. I used to have one though. Once I started using my bicycle to get around, I found that I didn't really need it.

沒(méi)有.不過(guò),以前有過(guò).后來(lái)開(kāi)始騎自行車(chē)才發(fā)現(xiàn),其實(shí)我并不是特別需要汽車(chē).

A:  maybe if I sold my car now, I wouldn't be so tempted to use it.

沒(méi)準(zhǔn)我現(xiàn)在要是把我的汽車(chē)給賣(mài)了,也就不會(huì)非用它不可了.

B:  you could try. It would save you a lot of money.

你可以試試看.那樣還可以幫你省下一大筆錢(qián).

A:  that's true. Every month, I spend hunderds of dollars on gas, insurance, and repairs.

B:  if you got to class by riding a bicycle every day instead of driving, you will get lots of exercise, too!

A:  I could stand to lose a few pounds. Having a car has made me lazy. I never end up walking anywhere!
