THE SOUND OF SILENCE 寂靜之聲(《畢業(yè)生》主題曲) 在1967年作為美國電影《畢業(yè)生》的主題歌，非常受歡迎。本來是3年前，莎爾蒙和卡爾方灌制的曲子，迪夫-古魯吉把這首曲子巧妙地電影音樂化了。
《寂靜之聲》旋律飄緩低迷，歌詞充滿了一種幻覺般的意境。細(xì)細(xì)聽來，仿佛在訴說著年輕無助的一種宣泄。眼前似乎看到一個(gè)懵懂無知的女孩，獨(dú)自一人行走在鋪著鵝卵石的狹窄、清冷的小巷里，喧囂的人群在她身后漸漸遠(yuǎn)去，前面是沒有盡頭的黑夜……歌曲如果說是屬于民謠的話似乎太深邃，如果說隨著強(qiáng)勁的樂曲而震蕩的節(jié)奏是搖滾的話，卻太細(xì)膩，音樂上它造就了類的中和體，這應(yīng)該是它成功的最大原因。
