這個(gè)習(xí)語源于英國賽馬比賽。從前在賽馬比賽中有個(gè)習(xí)俗,即把一頭山羊和要參加比賽的馬關(guān)在一起。據(jù)說山羊和馬為伴,能是暴躁的馬平靜下來。如果大賽前夕把山羊拖走,馬屁就會心神不寧。這樣,第二天的比賽就大打折扣。這種卑劣的手法就使人十分惱火,因此就用這個(gè)習(xí)語來比喻“使人惱怒,使人生氣”。
