1 . 解詞釋義
此語的意思是“做事直接，毫無顧忌”“對(duì)(做某事)不猶豫”。其英文解釋為：to make no mistake (aboutit); no need to doubt it。如果你有狂熱的想法，做出后會(huì)有不好的結(jié)果，但是你還是要試一試，就可以這樣說：I will make no bones about it. 也就是中文中“某人豁出去了。”的意思的表達(dá)。

e.g. If only John had been in question, you would have joined and made no bones about it?
要是問題只在于約翰，你就不會(huì)有任何顧慮而早就加入了吧?

Ps：對(duì)話中有一個(gè)語法現(xiàn)象表示本不應(yīng)該做的事情但是有做了，體現(xiàn)在謂語上should not have spoken。結(jié)構(gòu)是：should not have done。例如：
I should not have done so, other than for the most compelling reasons.
要不是出于非常緊迫的原因，我本不應(yīng)該這樣唐突的。
But for that, I should not have moved hand or foot in such a wild enterprise in the dark.
