Today decades after becoming an unlikely star in Hong Kong,Bruce Lee is now embraced as an icon for all of China.

幾十年過去了 曾經(jīng)的名不見經(jīng)傳，到現(xiàn)在被稱作心中的偶像。

In recognition of his contribution to Chinese culture,the authorities there are opening a $25 million memorial park near Bruce Lee 's ancestral home of Shunde.

為了感謝他對中國文化作出的貢獻(xiàn)，當(dāng)局斥資2500萬美元在李小龍的故居，順德興修了一座主題紀(jì)念公園。

You know, it is the ancestral home of my family,so I've always wanted to go and...

and see that just from a historical point of view.And it's a very interesting trip for me,because I've never actually crossed the border from Hong Kong into China.

那是我家的祖屋，所以我很想回去看看。以歷史的眼光去看看，這次旅行對我而言真是意義非凡，因為我從未從香港回到過大陸。

So this is my first time going there,traveling by bus, and I'm just really excited to see it.

Before Shannon visits the memorial park,she's been invited to see her grandfather's house to take part in a traditional incense burning ceremony.

在參觀主題紀(jì)念公園之前，李香凝被邀請去參觀祖父的房子，并且行了燒香祭拜之禮。

李香凝要來的消息使得整個小鎮(zhèn)熱鬧非凡，太感謝了，還專門有人打扮成李小龍表演雙節(jié)棍。

The park is spread over 1.9 million square meters.As well as a museum, it will eventually host an 18-meter high statue of Bruce Lee.

這個公園占地190萬平方米，除了博物館 里面還矗立著一尊高18米的李小龍雕像。

For decades, the Chinese government banned Bruce Lee 's films.But as attitudes towards free enterprise and individualism have softened,they've realized that Bruce Lee is an ideal icon for the new China.

一直以來 大陸都禁播李小龍的電影，伴隨著對于自由主義和個人主義的態(tài)度轉(zhuǎn)變，他們才意識到李小龍才是新中國最理想的偶像。
