Let’s Go for a Movie?

Cindy: Hi Jones, what’re you doing today?
Cindy:嗨,jones,你今天有事嗎?
Jones: You mean after church?
Jones:你是說(shuō)教會(huì)過(guò)后?
Cindy: Yes. Do you have any plans?
Cindy:是的,你有什么安排嗎?
Jones: No, not really. No plans.
Jones:不,沒(méi)有吧,沒(méi)有安排
Cindy: Let’s go for a movie.

Jones: Hmm... Which movie?
Jones:嗯…..什么電影?
Cindy: Well, I was thinking about the new movie “Norwegian Wood,” but I don’t mind if you want to watch something else.
Cindy:嗯,我原本考慮的是新上映的電影《挪威的森林》,如果你想看其他的電影我也不會(huì)介意
Jones: I saw the trailer for this movie. It seems to be a good one!
Jones:我看了這部電影的預(yù)告片,似乎還不錯(cuò)
Would You Have Dinner with Me?

Jones: Hi there, Cindy.
Jones:是我,Cindy
Cindy: How are you doing?
Cindy:你最近怎么樣?
Jones: I’m doing great! I was wondering if you’d have dinner with me.
Jones:我很好,我想知道你是否愿意和我共進(jìn)晚餐
Cindy: Dinner! Hmm... Why not? When?
Cindy:晚餐,嗯…..為什么不呢?什么時(shí)候?
Jones: How about tonight?
Jones:今晚怎么樣?
Cindy: Well...If I say I can’t make it tonight, then... ?

Jones: Then, can you make it tomorrow?

Cindy: Okay! I was just kidding.

Jones: So, will you come tonight, then?
Jones:那么,你今晚會(huì)過(guò)來(lái)?
Cindy: Yes, I will. It’s a date.

Kurt: How are you Wilma?
Kurt:你好嗎,wilma?
Wilma: I’m fine. How are you?
Wilma:我很好,你呢?
Kurt: I’m fine too. Wilma, can I ask you something, if you don’t mind?
Kurt:我還好,wilma,如果你不介意我能問(wèn)你一些事嗎?
Wilma: Sure Kurt.
Wilma:當(dāng)然可以啦,Kurt
Kurt: Can we go out on a date this Saturday?
Kurt:這個(gè)星期六我們?nèi)ゼs會(huì),好嗎?
Wilma: Err...A date? I think it’s...
Wilma:呃…約會(huì)?我認(rèn)為這…..
Kurt: It’s okay if you are busy, we can go some other time.
Kurt:如果你忙也沒(méi)關(guān)系,我們可以找另外時(shí)間出去
Wilma: I would say ‘yes’ you know, but it’s my dad. He doesn’t like you.

Kurt: That’s alright. Some other time then!

Wilma: Hello Kurt. How are you?

Kurt: Hi Wilma. I’m fine and you?
Kurt:嗨,wilma,我很好,你呢?
Wilma: I’m fine too. It’s a great day. Isn’t it?
Wilam:我也很好,今天天氣很好,不是嗎?
Kurt: Sure Wilma, it is.
Kurt:是的,wilma,很不錯(cuò)
Wilma: Yeah...
Wilma:是啊….
Kurt: Wilma, do you have anything to do after the office today?
Kurt:wilma,你今天工作完后有什么事嗎?
Wilma: No, why?
Wilma:沒(méi)有啊,為什么這么問(wèn)?
Kurt: Let’s go for a walk on the beach this evening! If that’s alright with you...

Wilma: Are you asking me out on a date?
Wilma:你是讓我和你約會(huì)嗎?
Kurt: Yes.

Interact : To interact means to act in such a way as to have an effect on another.
Date : To go out on a date means, two people going out together in order to interact and know each other better.
Plan : A plan is a detailed proposal of doing or achieving something.
Movie Trailer : A movie trailer is an advertisement for a feature film that will be exhibited in the future at a cinema.
Wondering : To wonder means the desire or be curious to know something.
Just kidding : Just kidding is used when we mean to say we are joking.
Office : Office is the local centre of a large business.
Beach : A beach is a pebbly or sandy shore, especially by the sea between high and low water marks.
