傳道書 第三章一至八節(jié)

For everything there is a season, and a time to everymatter under heaven;

凡事都有定期，天下萬務(wù)都有定時(shí);

A time to be born, and a time to die;

生有時(shí)，死有時(shí);

A time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;

栽種有時(shí)，拔出所栽種的也有時(shí);

A time to kill, and a time to heal;

殺戮有時(shí)，醫(yī)治有時(shí);

A time to break down, and a time to build up;

拆毀有時(shí)，建造有時(shí);

A time to weep, and a time to laugh;

哭有時(shí)，笑有時(shí);

A time to mourn, and a time to dance;

哀慟有時(shí)，跳舞有時(shí);

A time to throw away stones, and a time to gather stones together;

拋擲石頭有時(shí)，堆聚石頭有時(shí);

A time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;

懷抱有時(shí)，不懷抱有時(shí);

A time to seek, and a time to lose;

尋找有時(shí)，失落有時(shí);

A time to keep, and a time to cast away;

保守有時(shí)，舍棄有時(shí);

A time to tear, and a time to sew;

撕裂有時(shí)，縫補(bǔ)有時(shí);

A time to keep silence, and a time to speak;

靜默有時(shí)，言語有時(shí);

A time to love, and a time to hate;

喜愛有時(shí)，恨惡有時(shí);

A time of war; and a time of peace.

爭戰(zhàn)有時(shí)，和平有時(shí)。
