集思廣益 Team Brainstorming

集思廣益能催生大量未經(jīng)深加工(unedited)的想法。這個(gè)過程追求的是創(chuàng)造力。在尋求創(chuàng)造性解決方案和創(chuàng)新意識(innovate)的過程中,可以把完美主義的態(tài)度暫時(shí)放一邊。探討在先,組織完善(organize and perfect)在后。

會議開始,主持人應(yīng)鼓勵(lì)大家發(fā)言。

我們來討論一下該怎么解決我們的問題。

謝絕批評

批評,即便是出自善意也會將創(chuàng)意思維扼殺在搖籃中(Criticism, even well-meant, kills creativity)。在集思廣益討論會(brainstorming session)期間,不允許有任何形式的批評存在,“深加工”的過程可以放在會后。無論什么想法,即便是有些怪異(weird),都應(yīng)該“來者不拒”。不必在意任何的拼寫、發(fā)音或語法的錯(cuò)誤?!澳鞘莻€(gè)很蠢的主意”這種話千萬不能說。會后找時(shí)機(jī)再討論這些想法的價(jià)值。

A:What if we solved this problem by offering employee incentives?

B:I don't think that would work. It'd be too difficult to administer.

C:Wait a second, Bill. Save the criticism for later.Jill, keep those ideas coming. Employee incentives sound great.

A:通過給員工發(fā)獎(jiǎng)金的辦法來解決這個(gè)問題怎么樣?

B:我覺得那行不通,操作起來太困難了。

數(shù)量VS質(zhì)量

記錄下的想法越多越好。集思廣益討論會的目的在于在有限的時(shí)間內(nèi)形成(generate)盡可能多的主意。為了提高記錄的完整性,可以使用些縮寫語(abbreviations)。總之,要積極促成思想的自由跳躍。

C:Maybe it's just a matter of improving company morale. If the workers are happier, they will be nicer to the customers.

B:Well, if we wanted to improve company morale, one thing we could do is sponsor more outside events and activities for employees to socialize outside of work.

D:Yeah, like maybe a sport's team or an enrichment class or something. E:That would be fun.
