問：我們注意到，落實《南海各方行為宣言》第15次高官會將于近期舉行，請介紹有關(guān)情況。

Q: We have noted that the 15th Senior Officials’ Meeting on the implementation of the Declaration of Conduct of Parties in the South China Sea (DOC) will soon be held. Could you give us more details?

答：中方將于6月27日在湖南省長沙市與東盟國家舉行落實《南海各方行為宣言》第15次高官會。外交部副部長孔鉉佑和東盟各國外交部高官將出席會議。此前，還將背靠背舉行落實《宣言》第24次聯(lián)合工作組會。中方將與東盟國家繼續(xù)就落實《宣言》、推進(jìn)海上務(wù)實合作以及“南海行為準(zhǔn)則”磋商等有關(guān)問題深入交換意見。

A: China and the ASEAN member states will hold the 15th Senior Officials’ Meeting on the implementation of the DOC in the Changsha City, Hunan Province on June 27. Vice Foreign Minister Kong Xuanyou and senior diplomatic officials of the ASEAN member states will attend this meeting. The Senior Officials’ Meeting will be held consecutively with the 24th Joint Working Group Meeting on the implementation of the DOC. China and the ASEAN member states will have a thorough discussion on the implementation of the DOC, maritime practical cooperation and consultations on the Code of Conduct in the South China Sea (COC).

當(dāng)前，在中國和地區(qū)國家的共同努力下，南海局勢趨穩(wěn)降溫，不斷展現(xiàn)良好積極勢頭。各方將繼續(xù)保持對話和合作，爭取更多成果和積極進(jìn)展，為鞏固當(dāng)前良好形勢進(jìn)一步創(chuàng)造有利條件。

Currently, thanks to the concerted efforts made by China and regional countries, the situation in the South China Sea has cooled down and is stable, demonstrating a sound and positive momentum. All parties shall continue to maintain dialogue and cooperation, strive for more outcomes and positive progress, and create more favorable conditions to consolidate the current sound situation.

A: As we learned from the competent authority, the accusations against China made by the US media are groundless and sheer fabrications.
