　　一、 生詞講解

　　1、welcome n. 歡迎；v. 歡迎

　　a cold welcome 冷遇

　　welcome to＋地點

　　例如：welcome to China

　　You are welcome./welcome adj.或You are welcome to+地點

　　例如：welcome to my home/welcome home/ welcome back

　　2、crowd n. 人群

　　crowd :in the crowd

　　I spotted him in the crowd 一眼看見

　　a crowd of people 沒有次序的人群，擁擠的人群

　　a group of people 有次序的人群

　　crowd v.擁擠，擠滿

　　a large crowd of people 一大群人／crowds of people 許多人，人山人海

　　3、gather v. 聚集

　　people gathered 人們聚集在一起，尤指自發(fā)性的聚集

　　4、hand n. （表或機器的）指針

　　hand n.手

　　minute hand/second hand/hour hand

　　second hand 二手的，舊的

　　wait me a moment/wait me a few seconds(for a few seconds.)

　　5、shout v. 喊叫

　　call out 大聲喊叫

　　cry out 大聲哭喊

　　scream 尖叫

　　二、 本文重點語法講解

　　本篇課文的重點是時間介詞的用法。

　　這部分知識點實用性很強，在PET, BETS2 中是必考項目，也是新概念英語第二冊的重點語法，同時在小升初考試中也是完形填空常考知識點。只要多比較，多練，通過造句子區(qū)分各個知識點，學生大部分都能將這部分知識點掌握好，尤其時想在考試中拿高分的學生，千萬不要忽視這樣的細節(jié)知識點哦！

　　讓我們來看看具體的時間介詞家族成員吧：

　　At：表示在某時刻，時間，階段，如at noon 在中午，at night在夜晚，還有具體時刻at 12 o'clock等；時刻前的介詞用at：at five to twelve作時間狀語

　　In ：強調在一段時間內，如在早，午，晚in the morning, in the afteronno, in the evening.

　　課文中in twenty minutes' time 20分鐘之后，in 表示在段時間以后，根據(jù)時態(tài)判別in 表示的含義。

　　在四季也用它in spring, 在具體某一年，某一月份都用in, 如in 2010, in May

　　On :表示在某一天（具體日期），某星期，某天早上，某天前夕等具體時間：on May 1st ,2010; on Monday, on a sunny morning,on Christmas Eve.

　　From …to 強調時間延續(xù)性：從……到……舉個例子They are busy from morning till night.

　　During：在某段時間里During the holiday,she eats a lot.

　　Not ..until 直到。。才。這個詞考得特多，比如PET中常常在寫作第一題中讓學生進行同意句轉換，如：It is 12 o'clock.。 She comes late.可改為She doesn't come until 12 o'clock.劃線的地方不許超過3個單詞。

　　After ，Before這兩個詞 孩子們再熟悉不過了，一般放在時間狀語從句中使用。After he finishes his work ,he goes shopping.
