如今已經(jīng)曲不成形的魚槍,在一天里殺死了十五只鯨.而那支標槍...現(xiàn)在已是象支螺絲錐了...給投進了爪哇海后,還給一只鯨帶著走了,好幾年后這只鯨才在布朗可角的洋面上被人打死。

A still duskier place is this, with such low ponderous beams above, and such old wrinkledplanks beneath,

這地方還要昏暗,上邊是那么低矮.笨重的梁木,下邊又是舊得起皺的厚板,

that you would almost fancy you trod some old craft's cockpits, especially of such a howlingnight, when this corner-anchored old ark rocked so furiously.

簡直使人以為踩進了一只破船的船尾座位,尤其在這樣一個狂風(fēng)怒號的夜晚,使人以為這只陷入絕境而不得不拋下錨來的破舊的方舟正在劇烈地搖晃不停。
